KEDID's JOY -- Nehemiah 8:10

Do not sorrow for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

(Nehemiah 8:10b)

Happiness is fleeting, dependent upon circumstance...
but the joy of the LORD is like an effervescent
rainbowed bubble that just won't burst,

no matter the circumstance in life,

for true JOY is found only upon the ROCK of Ages.

His holy name is "J" --

E...S...U...S.

True JOY is loving JESUS first --

The CHRIST rules surpreme in our affections.

Next -- loving others.

It truly is more blessed to give than to receive...

and to love others before ourselves.

Last -- loving yourself.

JESUS, Others, Yourself --

the JOY of loving this WAY fulfills the Law and Prophets.

GOD is LOVE.

He who does not love does not know GOD, for GOD is love. (1 John 4:8)

In this the love of GOD was manifested toward us, that GOD has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. (1 John 4:9)

In this is love, not that we loved GOD, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. (1 John 4:10)
