Maia's SERENITY Prayer

SERENITY -- a disposition free from stress or emotion; the absence of mental stress or anxiety.

i have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. (Philippians 4:12)

For i can do everything with the help of CHRIST who gives me the strength i need. (Philippians 4:13)

And let the peace that comes from CHRIST rule in your hearts. (Colossians 3:15)

GOD, grant me the serenity to accept the things i cannot change,

The courage to change the things i can,

And the wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time, enjoying one moment at a time;

Accepting hardship as a pathway to peace;

Taking, as JESUS did, this sinful world as it is,

Not as i would have it;

Trusting that You will make all things right

if i surrender to Your will;

So that i may be reasonably happy in this life

And supremely happy with You forever in the next.

my Prayer For You

i ask GOD, the glorious Father of our Lord JESUS CHRIST, to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you might grow in your knowledge of GOD. i pray that your heart will be flooded with light so that you can understand the wonderful future He has promised to those he called. i want you to realize what a rich and glorious inheritance He has given to His people. i pray that you will begin to understand the incredible greatness of His power for us who believe Him. This is the same mighty power that raised CHRIST from the dead and seated Him in the place of honor at GOD's right hand in the heavenly realms. (Ephesians 1:17-20)
