Let GOD -- Proverbs 3:5-6

PROVERBS 3:5-6 -- another rLn personal Bible life-verse -- an acknowledgment that my own very finite mind is so very faulty... at times to the point of ridiculous idiocy! Many, many times, my two plus two does not equal four!

i used to balk at these words associated with genuine followers of CHRIST -- surrender, submit, obey... let go (all my rights), let GOD (rule all of me).

But when i realized Who GOD is -- holy, all powerful, all knowing, ALLways present, all wise, Self-existent, Self-sufficient, eternal, infinite, immutable, sovereign, free, personal, incomprehensible, inscrutable, good, loving, merciful, faithful, true, kind, compassionate, joyful, just, gracious, righteous, pure light... indescribable Intelligent Designer, amazing Creator of the Universe.

Knowing Who GOD is, the words surrender, submit and obey become positive words. To me, these words mean the same as trust. So trust in Him is the perfect (wholesome) action of the child of GOD. As a child trusts (surrenders, submits, obeys) her earthly father, i, as a child of GOD, also trust my heavenly Father, the Great I AM THAT I AM, to provide for all my needs, now and forever.

This rLn tshirt is a few years old -- an "oldie but goodie." Stained here and there, now refurbished with Proverbs 3:5-6 and 12 hearts to cover some stains.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart,

And lean not on your own understanding;

In all your ways acknowledge Him,

And He shall direct your paths.

Do not be wise in your own eyes;

Fear the LORD and depart from evil.

T-Shirt Tract -- FATHER, SON and SPIRIT

Peace with GOD is by His grace only. Because of His great love for humankind, GOD gave His only Son -- JESUS -- as atoning sacrifice to bridge the enmity between sinful mankind and holy GOD. By faith, we receive CHRIST's redeeming work on the cross at Calvary. And the joy of eternal heaven is for whoever receives JESUS as Messiah...LORD of his/her life.

Though we may be good citizens outwardly, because of our sinful inner nature, we are all at enmity with GOD (All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way. Isaiah 53:6) -- we have no peace with GOD.

But GOD so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16) The One True GOD is love manifested in JESUS.

Salvation (freedom) from the condemnation of sin (eternal separation from GOD -- hell) is by the grace of GOD. Redemption is by the grace of GOD only -- not by any amount of good works is a sinner saved. Grace is GOD's undeserved, unmerited favor. It's from GOD's infinite mercy and perfect goodness -- His gracious character -- not at all from any goodness (perceived or real) of the sinner.

It's by faith -- believing in the substitutionary sacrificial death of CHRIST JESUS -- that a sinner is saved.

Joy is the unfathomable peace of mind found in the certainty of being CHRIST's own -- no longer bound for hell.

The One True GOD is the Holy Trinity -- GOD the Father, GOD the Son, GOD the Holy Spirit. The one and only Living GOD is holy, perfectly just in His utter righteousness -- the One True GOD is eternal.

The One True GOD -- the Great I AM -- is holy. He is just and righteous.

He is self-existent -- uncaused...originless. He is self-sufficient.

GOD is eternal -- the One and only Being Who has existed for all of Eternity Past, Who will exist for all Eternity Future, and who actually exists outside of and beyond the realm of time.

He is infinite -- unlimited in time, space, power, presence, knowledge, essence, love, grace, and moral perfection.

GOD is omnipresent -- He is everywhere with His whole being at the same time at all times.

He is omnipotent (all-powerful). He is omniscient (all-knowing).

GOD is all-wise. He is immutable (changeless).

GOD is free -- His will and purpose are unlimited by any outside force and He is unrestrained in His will and plans, except by His Own nature.

GOD is sovereign -- His authority over all things is absolute. He is the sole ruler over all that exists. GOD is in control. He is on the throne. He is LORD.

GOD is incomprehensible -- no one except GOD Himself can even remotely understand and comprehend GOD. He is inscrutable (unsearchable).

GOD is true. He is faithful. GOD is good. He is merciful.

The One True GOD -- the Great I AM -- is love.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 is GOD's perfect timing in every thing. A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance... (Ecclesiastes 3:4)



The inspiration for the flowers are Mom's frontyard Poor Man's Orchids (just one of GOD's colorful myriad of flowery creations).

Today is Rose's 76th birthday (still beautiful after all these years). Her rLn original was finished late last night and worn to her aerobics class this morning. (And there's rLn...)
