But when the Holy SPIRIT controls our lives, He will produce this kind of fruit in us: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-control. Here there is no conflict with the law.
Those who belong to CHRIST JESUS have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to His cross and crucified them there. If we are living now by the Holy SPIRIT, let us follow the Holy SPIRIT's leading in every part of our lives. (Galatians 5:24-25)
Those IN CHRIST have all the fruit of the SPIRIT of GOD for He resides in each true believer. He is the CHRISTian's Helper, Intercessor, Sanctifier, Counselor, Comforter, Teacher of all truth, Engineer of circumstances, Giver of spiritual gifts. The abiding Holy SPIRIT transforms the surrendered believer into CHRISTlike character -- empowering him/her to do the good works that our Father in Heaven has purposed before the beginning of time.
The SPIRIT of GOD is the gift from GOD to everyone who receives His Son, CHRIST JESUS, as Redeemer and LORD of their life.
